Well, back to Yankton, SD for River Boat days. We all like going to Yankton for this purpose. River Boat days always turns out a big crowd for the races, because it is held on the Missiour River in the middle of the action.
Chuck and Brian didn't bring their boats because Brian blew his up again(hint: buy a new boat, I think the count in up to 6 times this year) and Chuck didn't want to race the saftey boats again.
Chuck raced the saftey boats in Okaboji because no other racers showed up in his class. He said it wasn't worth his time since he has already qualified for the World Finals. Brian has also qualified
but has no boat to ride. He said he might rebuild his again for the finals. All of us with Deep 6 hope he gets some money and buys a seadoo HX.
The races went well aside from the bouys drifting every few races from the river's current. Brian raced standup and finished 5th. Tony finished 5th also due to boat problems. He noticed an exhaust leak after the
race. Chuck didn't race at all because the standup he was going to race wasn't running very well. Fred didn't make it out of bed to make the trip. I think he was dreaming of his new girlfriend. We now get to
race near home in Fremont, NE for the final two races before the World Finals.
